Highlights

Many of our players are also a part of the region's High Performance club who competes in the BC Soccer Premier League and we have had great success at graduating players moving on to University Soccer programs. Connor Glennon is a Vernon boy who participated in the SD22 Soccer academy through his grade 8 – 11 years and was also a member of the TOFC Club. In his grade 12 year he moved permanently to Vancouver to be a full-time player with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC Residency program.

Molly Race of Vernon went on to a University career in USports and is now playing professionally in the Women's Super League in Denmark with FC Nordsjaelland.

Bentley Oyarzun of Vernon has recently signed on with the Spanish 2nd Division side CD Leganes.

Academy GoalsThe Academy’s goal is to improve player abilities and knowledge of the game of soccer while bringing awareness to the recognized player pathway within BC and Canada. We hope to assist players and their parents to understand how players can progress through the various levels of soccer in BC as established by BC Soccer and Canada Soccer so the players can play at the highest level they aspire to and desire to play at. Thompson Okanagan Soccer Academy focuses on player development with regard to physical, mental, emotional and social pillars. The aim is to assist players in their development at all levels and to help them achieve their personal athletic goals.
